What we store for each QR code
The link it opens, its design settings, and for free codes a private access token (stored as a one-way hash) plus an anonymous hash of the creating connection, used to allow one free code per person.
What we collect from account holders
Your name, email address, a securely hashed password and your codes. If you subscribe, Stripe processes your payment. We receive your Stripe customer ID, plan and billing status — never your card number.
What we collect when someone scans a code
The time of the scan, device type, operating system, browser, approximate country (looked up with IP Geolocation by DB-IP) and browser language. We do not store IP addresses. To count unique visitors we store a one-way, salted hash that cannot be reversed into an IP address.
Logos
Logos you add to a design are processed in your browser and stored only as part of your code's design.
Cookies
We use essential cookies only: one to keep you logged in and one that remembers your free QR code on your device. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Sharing
We don't sell your data. We only share it with service providers needed to run the service (hosting, Stripe for payments, email) or when legally required.
Your rights
You can edit or delete your account and all its data at any time from Settings. For other requests email info@myqr.fun.
